Thank you for your professional and friendly instruction this summer. In anticipation of our diplomatic posting to North Africa, my wife and I were interested in learning some practical basics on self-defense. My job requires that I travel to numerous countries in the Middle East and North Africa, and to leave my family for extended periods of time, so it was important that we find a place where we could quickly and efficiently learn some practical skills that would help us sharpen our situational awareness as well as to respond appropriately in the event of confrontation.
After visiting several training studios in Madison and talking with the instructors about their philosophies and possible programs, we choose to work with you at the Madison West Academy of Hwa Rang Do. It was indeed the right decision - your program was perfectly suited to our priorities. An accelerated schedule and your engaging personality and patient teaching style, made it a pleasure to learn. We especially appreciated your flexibility in responding to our request for situational training and for crafting a follow on program that we could take with us over seas.
