Kyo Sa Nim Gurevich began her training in Hwa Rang Do in 1995 under Master Kijek. She received the rank of Black Sash in 2005, and her second Dan in 2010. Over the years she has participated in numerous seminars and tournaments at both the regional and global level, and helped put on demonstrations and events here in Madison. She currently teaches kids Tae Soo Do, adult Hwa Rang Do and Women’s Self-Defense classes and continues to train under Master Kijek. Instructor Gurevich will graduate from the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a B.A. in Spanish Language in the spring of 2011.
